The SUNY New Paltz Microgrid Project
This project will consist of analysis, design, and implementation of a microgrid using solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage (ES) on the State University of New York (SUNY) New Paltz campus. When complete, the 217 kW solar PV system with ES will provide off-grid operation to the campus gym during utility interruption so that the campus’s critical operations remain intact.
