Erin Erben has logged 18 years in the electric utility industry, working for three utilities and a start-up software firm in roles ranging from Rates, Forecasting and Economic Development to Marketing and Energy Efficiency to Resource and Strategic Planning. She currently works as the Power and Strategic Planning Manager for Eugene Water & Electric Board in Eugene, Oregon and has served as an EPRI advisor in the Energy Utilization sector for the past 8 years. During her foray into product development for an IT company, she worked on designing web-based DR software for utility industrial customers. Erin holds a M.S. degree in Applied Economics, a B.A. in Economics, and a B.A. in Environmental Studies, all from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Erin is currently serving a 5-month term as a resident researcher with EPRI, focusing on the Integrated Grid project.
